Bolivar defeated spaniard army
but his social and revolutionary dream
was beatrayed for Colombian landowners.

Today,
a guerrilla called FARC-EP
keep fighting in Bolivar ideals
against Colombian oligarchy

FARC controls a big part of Colombia
and the foreign investor consider it as
a dangerous threat.

For Colombian and U. S. Goverments
guerrilas are kidnappers, drug-traders
and Terrorist

no other confict in western hemisphere
has the same bloody and suffering consequenses

Military and paramilitary death squadas
mutilate, kill and jail civilians suspected
of shimpaties with rebelds.

In hidden jungle training camps
FARC teachs to new recruits Simon Bolivar,
Carl Marx and Valdimir Lenin ideals, and
prepare them to fight.

when anyone decides fight
his/her compromise is for life time.

ACORN is a pro-tenant organization that works with tenant organizations like the Federation of metro Tenants Associations. Membership is voluntary in both our organizations.

ACORN is a membership organization of low income families, members pay dues so that they can have an independent organization capable of fighting and winning on critical issues of social justice. I think its rather paternalistic to be telling low income folks how they can spend their money. Certainly not the kind of thinking that comes out of organizations that are member owned, and member run like ACORN.

Beware of ACORN.

They are poverty pimps who pick pushbutton issues to con poor people in buying their $10 a MONTH membership fees.

They have been condemned by both the Tenant Resource and Advisory Centre in BC and Toronto’s Federation of Metro Tenants’ Associations for targetting poor tenants in public housing.

This seems like an anti- art comment to me. Music inspires and unites oppressed people and their allies. I think artists from any class can play an important role in revolutionary movements. A multi millionaire wrote Give Peace a Chance. A middle class Jewish boy wrote Blown in the Wind. Are these not useful contributions to the struggle?

A fine old communist song, turned into PR for the Kastner family and it’s golden boy, Peter. Kind of trivializes the sacrifices and struggles of working people around the world, this privileged Forest Hill boy singing about himself and his family.

As someone with the same last name, I’m embarrassed.
